More Statement and Demand Forms Page 164 #1-8 You will need 9 individual forms (4.5 sheets). Sheets can be found in the "Missed A Day?" bin in the Consumer folder.
Friday Feb 25
Chapter Review! That's right, we are done our first unit. You will have the review to do on Page 168 #1-7
Final Reminder that the TEST is on Tuesday March 1

Tuesday Feb 22 Assignment
Hi Folks,
Today we worked on calculating how much property tax will be on specifically valued homes. The formula is
Property Tax = Portioned Assessment x mill rate
1000
Remember that the portioned assessment is 45% of the value of the home.
Also from grade 11 you must recall that to calculate the mill rate you must use the following formula:
Mill Rate = total amount of $ to be raised x 1000
Total value of all homes
Today's assignment was page 155 questions 1 to 10

So to kick it off I am going to give you your Provincial Dates again:
- Provincial Project begins TUESDAY April 26 and goes for 3 classes. All the work will be done in class and must be completed in the three, one hour classes.
- Provincial Portfolio is to be FINISHED no later than June 3. This portfolio will contain 3 mandatory pieces and two pieces of your choice.
- Final Exam is 9am on June 15, 2011 in the Library.
